Dear KG2 Families,
I am so excited to be joining your child on his/her journey through school. Kindergarten is an exciting time for your child and an important part of setting up future success in school.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Hanar and I will be your child’s teacher for the rest of the year at Global Paradigm International School. The next few months are sure to be busy as we explore and grow together.
I would like to share a few things about myself. I was raised in England. I am married and have two children. I studied English Literature and spent the last 9 years working as a teacher for KG, years 1 and 2 at Nefertari British School and Global Paradigm International School. I look forward to teaching your child and making this experience as fun and enjoyable as possible. We are going to be doing lots of work and having lots of fun too. Along with all the learning, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me through email or Channel Book. My email address is hanarshabayek@gpschool-eg.com I will also be using the blog to post any important events. The blog address has not changed.
When I’m not teaching or planning awesome things for us to do at school I enjoy reading, going for a walk, shopping and spending time with my dear family.
I am so happy that I can spend the next few months with your child in KG2.
Best regards,
Hanar Shabayek

Arabic files:
Dear parents,
Please note that from now on students are required to have a SEPARATE Arabic file in their bags daily. This will lessen the loss of H.W sheets and any kind of mix up with English sheets. If you do not see an Arabic file in your child’s bag today, this means that we could not find an extra file for your child in our class to assign it for Arabic. Thus, you are kindly required to send with your child a new file labelled Arabic.
Please, make sure to send this file along with the English file to the school daily. Also please make sure to put any Arabic-related materials in this file.
Regards,
Mrs. Mariam
Portfolio files:
Dear parents,
Please note that we sent the kids’ portfolios yesterday. Please make sure to send the empty file back to be kept in class.

Dear KG2 Parents,
We are currently learning about “community helpers” also known as jobs. In order to help the kids learn about different jobs in our community, we kindly ask that a few parent volunteers can come into the school on Thursday October 13th @ 8:30 am. We will choose one parents from each class to come in and speak to all 3 classes. If you are interested in signing up please e-mail the class teacher and CC Miss Marwa Droubi as soon as possible. Because we have a limited number of slots we will choose the first parents that apply from each occupation.
We kindly ask that you bring props and possibly the outfit that you wear to work. For example if you are a doctor bring your coat, stethoscope, thermometer and any other tools you use at work! This will be a really fun and informative way to teach our kids about all the different jobs.
